Even if it does has a barb in the tail. Had a sudden oil weep out of the filter the last couple of days. I'm on a stag weekend tomorrow then Stockholm for a while, so I dropped the bike into Pole Position on the Highway for a new filter and oil. Picked it up and the guy said, 'Took it for a little run. Hope you don't mind. Just to road test it' 'Not a problem' 'Fucking hell....It's awesome. It wheelies in every fucking gear!!' Had to chuckle. |

| Pole Position ? International Racing Team Funny bunch of lads. Shabby as anything, but he did point out a few things about my bike and where it might be improved. Biggest issue on the Shiver is the front sussie which is non-adjustable and way too hard on the compression. We spent 15 minutes discussing what might be done and if it was worth it. Recommend them actually if you need something done up that there London. |

I dunno - taking a bike for a road test after an oil change and wheelying it is taking the piss a bit innit? Whatever. |

Almost any genuine supermoto will hoist the front wheel in every gear. First time I rode a full race Husaberg FS650, I couldn't keep the front end down. More recently, I used to borrow a Husky SM510R; that wanted to wheelie everywhere too (and stoppie come to think of it). Screwd. |

i'd be a pretty belled off if i took a bike for an oil change and i got the impression the mechanic had ridden it a bit hard let alone wheelied it. i'm not sure though in this case if he was joking or not? i remember taking a car i had once, a Saab turbo to a place for some work. went to collect it a bit early to see one of the bosses hammering it round an industrial estate. not please, complained but was told he had to road test it. never went back there. |

Whilst a compliment is nice, not sure why a road test really requires ragging the nuts of it.. I was also under the impression wheelies are not exactly the greatest way to treat your bike. Maybe he was kind enough to rag it through some Gatsos too... |
