How much!?

Can't say I know much about the TZ750, but that seems fairly fricking steep to me.

WTF he's got a fairly original TZ750 and he's taken the engine out to build some flat-tracker thing he won't be able to ride?

What an asshole.

Should be a crime to split a bike like that.

I would have thought the best part of that is the exhausts as TZ spannies are very complicated to manufacture as they do a lot of twists and turns whilst still making up the cone shapes.

What is often called "Art" in a four stroke zorst is just posh pipe bending in comparison.

Jesus, there is a lot of work in those zorsts. I wonder if anyone makes them, and how much they'd be worth to buy.

My mate blows a lot of exhausts for manx racers and classics, but, you need a template first, and a frame to make sure everything's perfect.

Is that Stinkwheels? They do weld a tasty pipe there. Pete taught them well

If you want to get exotic try doing hydraulically formed/hot bent pipes

If you see most of the TZ750s on the classic race scene most of the pipes are 50% weld by mass.

Nah, what used to be Fabtech in Lancashire, but has recently become Sergeants Fabrications. Ben Sergeant makes loads of bits for BSB and WSB teams, and lots of manx boys. He also made the tank and a few bits for McGuiness' lap winning bike.

You, of all people would probably appreciate a lot of the stuff he does. A lot of it is new to my ears, as far as the manx stuff goes, but no doubt you'd know what bikes they are. He's also just started making frames for 350/500 Manx Nortons.

Hydraulically formed? Filling with water, then pressurise? This is what Ben does with his classic pipes. He got the kit from when he used to work at Frank Wrathalls. Not sure I'm firmiliar with 'hot bent pipes' though.

The one that goes from number 1 cylinders great isn't it?
How the hell would a person make that fit through the frame like it does and carburate (sp?) like the others?
And in the 70s before computer programmes like Bimotion and Sheet Lightning existed.
Its a lot of work IMO.

Well, that's the age old question. What came first, the Zorst, or the engine!

Seems a real shame, not as if there's many TZ750 motors out there.

Bloke must think he's Kenny Roberts. Gonna get a shock if he ever tries to ride it .

Screwd.

I remember when Jim bought that TZ. He started it up in the alley way and the throttle stuck open!!!

I say fair play to him. He tried to sell it before as a complete bike and only had time wasters, so why not split it up and enjoy it for what he wants.

Take pleasure from leisure. Think it do it!

LOL and to think I almost pm'd you on this EJ, should've guessed.

Oh well, I should correct myself; he's gonna get another shock if he ever tries to ride it.
