Recommend wavy discs
Need new ones all round. I've been on Galfer's for the last four/five years and they were fine, except the centres rusted up. I've also been looking at EBC.
What other manufacturer's make them?
Cheers.

I'm getting in quick with a +1 on my stealth wavys on EBC pads.

Re: Recommend wavy discs
I've had two bikes with EBC discs fitted and have changed them out very quickly. They're fine in the dry but don't work to the point of being lethal in the wet. I have Galfers on the Speed Triple but in general I'd recommend fitting OEM.

Re: Recommend wavy discs
I've only ever had EBC pads delaminate on me, so won't buy them again.
What's wrong with OE discs, they are usually the best compromise between performance and longevity.

I recommend wavy discs if you're planning on getting axle deep in mud. Otherwise, it's a pose.

Not ever EVER in one bazillion years should you evey buy Stealth. They take three months to get your stuff to you, lie like MP's about when they will arrive, then when they do arrive they will have the frictional qualities of grease and they will ignore you when you repeatedly point out that their products are not only crap, they are dangerous too.
I bought stealth wavy and Armstong pads. Service was atrocious.

Service was a bit shite when I bought mine, but as far as the discs go mine are fine. I didn't make the mistake of using Armstrong pads mind.

Wise.
The black coating on the discs I bought that was SUPPOSED to last for thousands of miles just jumped onto the pads and rendered the whole lot useless. I still have the rotors propped up against the fridge.

To be fair, I had the normal discs so maybe we're compaing chalk&cheese. I take your point about the woeful service though - I'm glad I never had cause to complain.

That understates their wet weather performance. It's more a case of pull the brake lever, start pumping the brake lever, keep pumping the lever but now the adreneline is starting to flow, panic is building, oh fuck the bike won't stop, fuck fuck fuck, no, they're starting to bite, it's slowing down, fuck that was close.
Stealth and EBC are pretty much the same. If there is even a slim chance the brakes might get even a teensy weensy bit of moisture on them then buy something else.

I'd say I can't tell the difference between my wavy Galfers and the OEM Triumph discs, apart from the Galfers don't rattle. What wavy discs have you been using?
