FZ750 with a load of work just done by Paul at Pointy Hat - 948 race motor, genuine Yamaha dry clutch, carbon fibre wheels, carbon fibre Ducati fairing, Point Hat alloy tank, Pointy Hat alloy R1 seat unit, Pointy Hat exhaust.

Might not everyone's cup of tea, but the workmanship that's gone into it is exemplary.

Most definitely not my cup of tea but I can appreciate the work that went into it.

Am intersted in the dry clutch conversion though - got any more info?

Yep, copied exactly from the plastic original.

Don't like the paint or the seat unit, I don't think I'd have carbon fibre wheels on a road bike but apart from that fantastic, FZs are great, they can be made to fly relatively cheaply and are very stable.

Dry clutch was part of the Yamaha race kit, but I don't think you'd need it as the FZ clutch is tough as old boots, unlike the conrods.

BST claim their CF wheels are stronger and more durable than stock jobbies.

Wrat has a set on his ZX10R.

I admire the work on the Yam,but I don't much like the result, all that effort to look unfinished.

What's the point of the dry clutch then?

To echo something Tomcat said a while back "CF bodywork is in the same class as anodised fairing bolts".

Great workmanship but can't say i like the overall look

BUT, with the original top fairing, seat unit and painted in standard(early model) silver and red it would be perfect

The Ducati fairing is so iconic, it really only belongs on a Ducati. Apart from that (and the fact it's not a diesel) it's fairly cool.

Bet the compound curves on that tank took some effort though.
