SV650- featherlight..... grab a bar and pull.

Fazer 1000- bit more substantial; back up to it and lift with the legs.

Electra glide- same technique as the fazer but I'm sure I looked like I was trying to shit a cactus

I sound like I drop bikes a lot

MC022 mmmmmm......mandlebars

All of them,yes.

After washing my bikes I set them on the nearside footrest to drain the excess water. I've never owned a Goldwing, but it works for me up to a ZZR11.

The best way to pick up a crashed bike lying flat is arse against the seat, hold onto the bars and push with your legs.

Only time I've needed help was when the ZZ went arse first into a hedge.

I havent tried to pick the GS up yet as not dropped it but fairly sure i could manage it

The joys of being a race marshal is that you get looooaaaads of practise at getting bikes off the side and a lot of the time its got to be done bloody quickly. (Brands Indy gives less than a minute from crash to the lead bikes being back with you again and chances are they didnt see the crash ) Plus you get to meet people like Pete

Just remembered, moved the GS to get the little ducati out of the garage a few weeks ago. Did have my lovely, lanky, 15 year old son to help me tho'. I swear the whole time I thought that huge machine might eat us!!!!!!!

In all honesty, if ever phoo drops it, he's on his own

On both occasions I dropped the Pan, I had willing helpers appear on the scene. On the second occasion I was in a queue for the ferry, so there was no shortage of witnesses I was grateful for those 'crash wings'..

Seeing how it all Pans out

I can pick the GSX up no problem. I have to lift the back end in and out of the alcove in the garden it lives in too.

GSX550.

Profile updated.

I have picked up a Bonnie. The last occasion was on the Applecross road and there was no-0ne to help within miles. Adrenaline(Sp?) is your friend.

ktm adventure.

Yes - can pick it up from past vertical (ie the handlebars are lower than the wheels from dropping it on an incline)

I practice quite often

I can pick my Triton up without dismounting. Is there a prize or some points or something?
