Ground Anchors
I want to get a ground anchor, but not sure which out of the many would be best, as they all look as though there is a weak point or two.
Which ones are known for being real good ones to protect your bike?

I have the yellow one from almax that is chemicaly glued in. The only way it's coming out is if the concrete floor comes up.

I saw that on the Almax website, looks massive, would you say it's worth it over the Torc II which can be found on ground anchors, motorcycle ground anchors, chain anchor, ground anchor UK, elitesecuritysupplies.com

The retaining bolts look like 2 inch long. Too short I think, again a bit of crowbar leverage could sort that.
I'm also looking at security, I could spend upto £300, I want it to work.

Ok so you are supposed to hammer a ball bearing in there but TBH, I'd be looking at something that has an enclosed expanding bolt or is a conctete in or epoxy in. I have the Rhino that Pete mentioned, I have used it to drag out hedges with an electric winch and it didn't budge. I have also had to remove a Hardy because I fitted it sloppily and it was too loose, even with slack to play with and a full selection of tools, it still took a LONG time and lots of noise.

Can't imagine you'd get a crowbar in when a 19mm chain is in there. The bolts anchor out, you'd be surprised how strong they are.

Regarding exposed bolts, it's all about strategic placement. Fitting it in a manner where you can't really get to it when the bike is parked up, so loop the chain around and then park up.
Do the Hardy and the Rhino take a 19mm chain?

Would there be a problem fitting the Rhino to a wall?

I doubt the wall would be strong enough, unless its a good quality concrete
