| Depends what you're replacing and your usage patterns. In my case it might be the difference between owning a bike AND a van, to just a trike-scooter-thing.

I've just invented a flying surfboard that runs on fag butts. It's only a concept at the moment but it'll revolutionise personal transport. Seems like there are lots of "concepts" flying around at the moment, show me something that actually works and I'll be impressed, until then, what's the point in showboating someone's Photoshop skills? |

Actually, serious comment about the concept vehicle is that it isn't what could be a called a 'full prius' in that the engine doesn't recharge the batteries.

Apparently it's classic 'form follows function' (did you see that cruiser pic Zanx posted? ) in that the batteries (or whatever) sit long and low.

| I bet that's not true...the article has a one line throw-away comment about the engine not charging the battery. It can't all come from Regen braking, otherwise it'd be possible to completely drain the battery if you rode the bike in a certain way.

Something along those lines (I'd prefer a single front wheel, larger diameter wheels/tyres and a slightly larger engine), and I'd DEFINITELY be interested.
