If everyone gets one or two hundred quid in then the target of £5k is in serious danger of being reached! THANK YOU! ** The background to this is that I’m going to ride the Fazer round the UK coast taking in the NSEW points on the mainland. It’ll be about 3200miles over 8 days/7nights at the end of May (17th-24th at present) and is to raise cash for the charity Ovarian cancer action. (http://www.ovarian.org.uk/) Anyone interested in joining in?? ***Here are the day by day routes on Google maps..... *** Day 1: Harefield > Penzance http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...=UTF8&t=h&z=11 Day 2: Penzance > Aberyswyth http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...151611&t=h&z=7 Day 3: Aberystwyth > Ayr http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...287903&t=h&z=9 Day 4: Ayr > Ratagan http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...287903&t=h&z=9 Day 5: Ratagan > John O' Groats http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...575806&t=h&z=8 Day 6: John O' Groats > Aberdeen http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...575806&t=h&z=8 Day 7: Aberdeen > Hull http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...e=UTF8&t=h&z=6 Day 8: Hull > Harefield http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...=UTF8&t=h&z=10 *** The route is shown in high-tech below and starts/finishes in Harefield, NW London (for me anyway). Travelling clockwise. ![]() **EDIT** Following a very sensible suggestion from Spin, here's the list of attendees, confirmed or otherwise split over the days of the trip. Let me know if you want added/taken off or if I've got details wrong. I'll update this first post as things get more organised so keep checking:

Pedant mode: Since you seem to be starting from the M25... why not start and end it at the Dartford crossing? Skeptic mode: I wont join you for a bit of the south coast, but will give the quids I save in a charity box... much more efficient. |

| I might join you down to the seaside and round to East Kent, and then stop for tea with my parents (to which you are welcome too*). I like that road from Brighton along the coast East. ![]() * probably. Have to ask first. |

You realise you're miles away from the coast through Lancashire? Any particular reason to miss out that bit? Assuming the other gaps are road related, doesn't make sense to me to miss out the UK's most famous coastal town. I might even have gone to Blackpool to say hi. | |
