Can strongly recommend anything by Teknic. I've worn it in all weathers and crash tested it twice.

It can be see in Yorkshire in these places.

I've got Spidi stuff, fucking ace, but only showerproof, will let in through vents in a downpour.

Aerostitch if you can get it though.

It would seem that my trusty, 8 year old, Weise Waterford II textile jacket and trousers have long ago passed their usable life. So I am in the market for some new kit.

Whatever I buy has to be able to withstand riding every day in just about every weather condition, so waterproofing (including pockets) and removable liners are critically important, as is at least some protection for knees, elbows, shoulders etc. Also of importance is that there is no "leak" between the jacket and trousers, the Waterfords I have now are great as the trousers have a Simon Cowell esque high waist and braces. The jacket also has a high collar which also prevents leaks.

I would buy the same kit again, but it would seem Weise no longer make them (well there are unproven, to me, new versions), so does anybody have any suggestions?

Ahh yes, one other thing, price is a factor. I don't want to spend more than around £200 for the whole lot, I know there is the "how much is your skin worth" argument, well let me put it this way, it isn't worth £848!!

Alternatively if you have no idea, post up some online shops I can browse around.

Kerist - I think I used to have a Waterford!!

I'd go for HG stuff - I replaced my Weiss stuff with HG Voyager gear (Cruise I think it is now), and the performance is on a par.
