Fat fingers
Are future rock gods allowed in here too?
Bought a second hand left-handed "Cruiser by Crafter" made in China last Saturday, with 10W amplifier and little tuner. Actually didn't notice it only had 5 tuning knobs until I got home and tried to tune it. The end was broken off the nut too.
Anyway, tuning with a screwdriver until new twidding mechanism arrives from Hong Kong. The nut is built up with epoxy putty and at least the string doesn't fall off the end.
Hey that was the easy bit- This is Thursday: I should be touring my first album and forcing skunkalin up Eastern European courtesans' arses by now! Not still struggling to fit 3 fingers into the space available for the D chord. I even measured the guitar to see if it was an extra small kids' one, but no, I can't have that excuse.
See you on the road then, in maybe some many years' time, dudes.

The connection here doesn't really do vids properly, but the first bit sounds fine!

Re: Fat fingers
You guys were right about one thing. I now have three axes and two amps.
Bought an Epiphone version of a Les Paul, in nice condition today, along with a Marshall MG30 Digital something or other and a Stagg Telecaster copy that has some sort of broken circuit between pickups and jack.

Sounds good. I found the Epi Les Paul necks too narrow for my spectacularly fat fingers though.....

Re: Fat fingers
Got the Telecopy sort of working now, waiting for a new volume pot from Ebay. New genuine £7.99 Fender strings, bought locally, have to go back to the shop because they're rusty.

Re: Fat fingers
Got the (free haha!) Stagg (oft-despised Belgian brand made in Far East) Telecaster going now.
Definitely got a tone of its own. Strange reverberating sustain.

Re: Fat fingers
Take heart from Willie Nelson at Glastonbury!
His fingers are about as fat as mine.
