    Default presenting ones ring etc.

Yes, it will be a layered tower, so will need to take the haggis out of the bag and pat it down with enough to fill the diameter. Thinking somewhat along the lines of a large tin of tomatoes, as said will have a few dry runs before the main course/event. Fingers crossed, as I'm really not a good cook.

hmm, may be an idea to open the bag up once you've eviscerated the thing, once spread out you could cut some intestinal discs (using the tin as template) to form a sandwich above/below the fleshy bits?

Ok, I'm not that bad a cook. Are you purposefully trying to make me feel queezy with all your evisceration?

no no! I've only eaten Haggis twice but enjoyed it immensely, One found the "bag" to be an integral component, from both a textural and historical context. Oh dear, just come all over Lloyd Grossman. Gross.

Note to self. eat Haggis tonight.
