So what has everyone been up to since the forum has been disabled?
I went to Sharm in January, with the kids, unmitigated disaster in terms of them ever being divers, but I got to dive Tiran on my birthday
Became a IDC Staff Instructor in April and helped two mates through their IDCs.
Easter saw the best of the wrecks tour with Blue o Two, fantastic diving, got to dive the Rosalie Moller without issue from another diver
and it was a very chilled out week apart for nearly twatting an inconsiderate diver* on my last dive of the holiday
I made the conscious decision to do some diving for me this year, so me and my buddy have dived the north east coast, been to St Abbs and Farnes, may the new year come quickly to do some more.
Sadly, due to a number of reasons, the teaching is taking a back seat at the moment, to the point where I may not renew next year... but I have a little while to make that decision
I doubt I'll be in the water again this year, very recent wrist op means no pool time for 3-4 weeks, new tattoo in a day or so, means the same, and 'sadly' the ball gets in the way of the next OW training session
So what have you all been up to?
* WTF possesses people to pick up objects and throw them at the wildlife
The fact the guy had been a wanker all week didn't help matters!

Really Bored
Re: Wooohooooo we are back!
Nothing, zip, nada. Haven't 'got wet' all year. Time has been an issue and my current employment dramas mean no spending money at the moment. I hope to be diving again in February.

At Work
Re: Wooohooooo we are back!
It's been quiet, just 25 dives this year. On the plus side they have all been dives for me, no shepherding students around quarries. I haven't renewed my DM status this year, and can't see me doing so in the future.
Financial constraints have meant that we haven't been away this year, so all my diving had been in the north east. I've been blown out as often as I've been diving, but I have managed to dive at the Farnes, St Abbs and Eyemouth. I had a great time last Friday at the Farnes, 62 minutes at 3.5m with seals all around

A Bit Bored
Re: Wooohooooo we are back!
Only got a few dives in to get my eye back in so to speak, due to combination of job hunting, flat hunting, housemoving, injuries, lack of fundage.. bah
Hoping to talk a few buddies out of hibernating and plodding on through the winter even if its a day trip to stoney or vobby
