If you can, you can. If you can't, you can't. Will have to print it unless you have something like Acrobat or Illustrator or Photoshop.

Yes, there's no security so if you use Acrobat you could edit it. It was made with MS Word 2007 if that helps. Best bet is print, pen and scan. Otherwise you can get knickers in a twist quite easily.

Its in some sort of web page pdf thing, You'd need to re save it and edit it in either Acrobat pro (possibly reader) or another app.

Yeah I have the document saved (not in IE window) - so I need to find the 'edit' button of screwd says they is one.

They will only accept it in email format - ie cannot print and post it to them

hi

thanks all. I had another look and it is a 'scanned' document (someone sent me it by email). so I can't write on it as in fact it can't recognise any words or text boxes - it's basically like jpg.

God knows why we're told they'll only accept it by email if its like that

screwd can you send me your email by pm, and I'll send it to yuo just to check?

Er.. technically, I have no idea. But my version of the software recignises the text as text and allows me to type into the box ok, though I was only having a quick look. I suppose it *is* possible I could not have then saved it, but I doubt it..?

Anyway, silly of them to set it up that way and expect people with bog standard software to be able to edit it... but entirely typical of yer average admin bods. *sigh*

Use the form button in the software and follow the wizard, which is what I did on the example given.

This is using Pro 8
