Are c***s, they wont upgrade there software for hardware older than seven years, thats my scanjet 5300c out the window then. Well thats what i thought until i found this today VueScan Scanning Software works with vista and 7. So fuck you HP, i wont buy anything with your name on it again.

If they support it up to seven years old then that sounds pretty good to me, IBM wouldn't even fix a BIOS bug in a nearly new laptop saying they will fix it in the next model.
