I give up - been trying to make this bloody boot disc for days but not working. Want to boot Windows PE and use imagex to capture an XP installation so I can restore it quickly if I need to. Was gonna use Acronis or something but thought I'd get the hang of this WAIK stuff. But no:

Step-by-Step: Basic Windows Deployment for IT Professionals
All I've done though, is the stuff in Step 3. I don't want to do anything other than boot WinPE right now. I did Step 3 on a Vista system, intending to burn the CD to carry to the XP machine, boot from the CD, then do the imagex thing to capture the image and stick on a spare partition or CD or something. But to do that, I have to have a bootable WinPE CD. Is the stuff described in Step 3 sufficient for a simple boot disc? It doesn't talk about mounting stuff in the "mount" directory, which is fine, 'cos I don't want to capture anything from the Vista machine, all I want is a bootable disc, sod image capture right now.
So I make the ISO and burn it to disc, but when I boot
