hi, folks A mate needs to get some stuff off a laptop but doesn't know the password is there an easy way to do it without taking the hard drive out?  crust

There is a way where you log into the bios and bugger about at DOS level with the password file. I'll try to dig a bit deeper |

Taking the hard drive out may not help as many laptops come with Vista Ultimate which has hard drive encryption included. To answer the question I have no idea, sorry. |
