Default Headphone recommendation

Can anyone recommend me some noise cancelling headphones. I usually use in ear Sennheisers when I'm flying but the other day I was flying and the airline provided noise cancelling ones and they were brilliant (No idea what make they were branded with the airlines logo).

So which ones are good and which ones are not?

Do you actually report threads when you write that? Only, it would save me the bother.

I've used Sonys, and the quality of the sound is excellent. But I've had serious reliability issues, and will never buy Sony headphones again. Also had a big argument with them about warranty replacement, as I'd lost the receipt - they did replace them in the end, and then again as the replacements died too.

sometimes, and i can do every time if it helps. it's more to try and open peoples eyes, let them know that there are more relevant forums to post than general; where they might get a better response. but then, you know that anyway.

Well in the interests of getting a better and quick response I put it in here as we have over engineered the forums and now there are too many to keep abreast of. If you haven't got a headphone recommendation then I suggest you move along

The longer people post their gadget/tech threads here, the longer the 'computer help' forum will remain the domain of the nerds, when actually it should just be a place for more focused discussion.

It probably would help to report more threads, I've seen the forum the reports get listed in, and it's just a long string of reports by me - I'm not even sure the colours take them seriously any more unless two or more people say something.

i am confused. if the gadgets forum hasn't changed or moved, how can it be hard to keep abreast of where to post a gadgets question?

Oh noes, off topic posting in an off topic forum, we should band together and go tell the king

Oh, and posts can be thanked in other forums, so people *might* be more inclined to give a serious answer.

Right that's it i'm off to post another thread in gadgets and technology (or maybe foodophiles).
I'll check it after 3 days just to make sure the tumbleweed is rolling by and not stopping and snarling things up.

Thanks for all your assistance

No problems. Of course, it only works if people such as yourself actually visit said forums, a handful of puter boffins and fatties aren't likely to know much about headphones

I'm back. I decided to post it in the Noise cancelling headphones forum but was somewhat surprised to find we didn't have one
