I use a set of Motrax ones, they're alright but do require regular tightening

I have bar end mirrors on my monster, the really small ones with flat glass lenses. I can see a decent amount behind me though have to move my head to see a wider view. This I found was better than the previous set of motrax bar ends which had a convex lens which do give you a wider view but everything was so small in the mirror as to render them useless and a near miss with a van due to relying on this view made me remove them an hour later.
Rizoma make some funky if expensive ones.

1. Anything that is in the world when you're born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.
2. Anything that's invented between when you're fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.
3. Anything invented after you're thirty-five is against the natural order of things.

Zefal (who make mountain bike stuff) do a decent bar end mirror with convex refractor (wide angle view) which work pretty bloody well IME and are about £15 IIRC

I have one on my old streetfighter

F**k me, there's a blast from the past. Never knew that.

Mate of mine had one of their seatposts, can't remember the details but he said it was crap...

Rather than bar end mirrors (which look gay) go for inner bar mounted mirrors, the one I have is designed for a pushbike but works really well, cheap too.

I'm going to nip off see if I can find you a pic and/or link

Turns out there made by Zefal ( which someone else mentioned!)

I spend most my money on petrol, tyres and kneesliders. The rest I just waste

I got these a while ago - Bar End Mirrors Suzuki SV650 GSXR 600 750 1000 Hayabusa on eBay (end time 06-Jan-10 12:15:19 GMT)

if you undo the clamp and take out the part that would go into the bar end, then they go nicely round the handlebars - get a good view uder my arms, just make sure that your thumbs don't knock them too much - pretty cheap too
