I suspect that works fine if the forks are tied together properly.

I've ridden a few bikes where the forks twist under braking with a single disc.

Under extreme conditions I suppose there could be some independant movement of the forks, we've all seen that picture of one snapping.

That's what he does and apparently it works.

I can't do rolling stoppies and have no intention of learning them so can't test it myself.
