Question Trail riding in France

Anyone done it? If so what did you think?

Seems to me it should be a good place, what with miles of open country, bike-friendly attitudes and real summers - and not too far to travel.

Here's a few:

Creuse/central - Izzy Moto Home Page
Dordogne - Welcome to Trail Riding France
Limousin - Bluesky Trails - Trail Riding In France
Normandy - Welcome To Bike Normandy
Normandy again - Trail Ride Normandy - touring France's finest trails on two wheels

off road trails in France : wikiloc.com

Don't know if this site would be of any use to you? Only came across it earlier today, so haven't had the chance to research it yet...

Plus, if you're on the TBM forums, pm Cobra. He rides out there a lot with another mate of mine.

my cousin goes over every year with a group of mates, he highly recommends the company used as they tailor the routes to the requiremnets of the group (his group has some ISDE medals to their name and still have fun) the guide last year was the local enduro champion and knew the area really well.

Cant think what they were called, had a prescence at the NEC show recently, if you are interested i'll get the details for you though

oh and they are based in Normandy

We've used Azimut Enduro from Lille for a short weekend in Northern France. However, they don't speak much English. But the organiser from our club is French.

I can tell you that Bike Normandy is great. I've not been off road with them but I've done the tours a few times and the people, John and Jen are tops. The place itself is very comfortable and the food is out of this world. You won't go far wrong choosing this place.
