I know...didn't notice until later in the day. Moved them for next time, but not sure the velcro goes far enough down to get them in the righ position for me.

I might have to start a "Show us you trying to get your knee down" Thread instead?

Had a go yesterday at cadwell on the Buell experience, thought I was almost there through hall bends and through the gooseneck.... apparently I was nowhere near

My excuse is I have only been on a bike since March

I did manage to get the front end up over the mountain though, that felt like 6ft not 6" too

This is pretty much spot on for learning the technique; YouTube - MCN: How to get your knee down

Best to go out with a mate that can do it, armed with a camera and get lots of tips and photos to show you what you're doing. You're not hanging off the bike at all in that picture above...you've got to get that arse off the seat and your shoulders down low, laying your outside arm across the tank

I haven't got the best technique in the world, but it's better to start off doing it how it should be done, before you adapt it to your riding style a bit more.

Not me (obviously) but this is my favourite picture of Metz with his knee down...first time getting his left knee down as well!

Well, I'm at Mallory again in October, and Gerrards is my favourite bend of all (so far...). Last time I was there, I got my toe down, and apparently just needed to hang off a tad further, because I was certainly leant over far enough. Bloody shortarse that I am

Can't wait - watch this space for giddy excitement next month (or possibly blood and bruises...)
