Sorry to have derailed there. Back to the point, isn't there a fix for the rear brake issue?...

Aprilia now offically say there is no problem, although there is a dealer advisory about proper bleeding and use of the correct fluid..I don't really know why they fail as every other brembo set up I have had has been fine, but they seem to boil or bleed air in..there was a heat shield which I think later bikes like mine has as standard..sadly until Aprilia accept there is a problem it will mean regular trips to the dealer for a warranty re-bleed..

As I understand it, its the positioning of part of the braking system that causes the loss of pressure, rather than the system itself, thus the moving the heat shield on later bikes.

Southern Cross seem fairly confident in the fiddlings they've done to my new one, but only time will tell.

Badly typed,,.. the boiling and bleeding only relates to the aprilia

Mana 1200 sounds very interesting.
No clutch slip any more than a conventional set up TP,just behaved like a manually operated clutch. The bike has plenty of grunt for everyday use or traffic light GP,just pales a bit against the Tuono at higher speed.

Regarding the rear brake issue on Tuono's and RSV-R's, the service bulletin that Aprilia issued does actually resolve the issue.
Mine was carried out last year and has not needed bleeding since.
