You probably don't need further emphasis, but I only once wore a large rucksack on a bike. Took some bulky but lightweight stuff over to France, in what I think was an 85 litre bag. Never again. Hugely uncomfortable, and almost certainly dangerous.

I appreciate everyone saying "don't do it, it will be uncomfortable", but it will only be for about 20 miles, so not that bad, no?

Also, the Blade doesn't exactly give itself to a bungie friendly back end.

I often ride with a big rucksack, never been a problem.

Alright then, perhaps you could fit a sidecar or tow a trailer.

My gut feeling would be not do do it either, but understand the physics of a luggage un-friendly Blade. WHy don't you borrow a large rucksack to try the experiemnt first? I have a 70L one if you want to try.

only 20 miles it would be cheaper to pay for a cab to drop it off and you follow the cab than buying a big rucksack.

I've got a 120 litre Berghaus Vulcan, not that I have much need of it anymore. I once wore it partially filled on a bike, never ever again, and that was only for a six mile journey on an upright bike. Bloody hideous idea.

I recently transported 2 x 25 kilo sacks of post concrete in a Berghaus Cyclops Roc from B&Q back to my home.

Not recommended.
