You've bought a Guzzi haven't you? Should be a cinch to fit an off switch.

| I think you should also ride assuming that they may see you make an unintentional headlight flash. I do wonder about riding around with the tail lights on all the time could disguise some of the 'warning' effect of brake lights too. |

They removed the compulsion on Jan 1st this year and preliminary reports show that deaths on their road have fallen already.

No, yes, yes, and yes. But I don't care at the moment. The reason that I think headlights in the daytime work to make you seen is because we have one fuck of a lot of trees around and on a sunny day when you ride into the shadows the light will make you more easily seen by someone sitting in the sunlight waiting to pull out onto the road. I know it makes it easier because I fucking look and can fucking tell the difference. Yes I can see a motorcycle that doesn't have it's lights on, but that's because I look for motorcycles. And when I see one that has it's lights on I also notice that it is easier to see. Granny with the cataracts may be a 90lb powder puff but that Buick she's driving will fuck you up. But hey, why improve your odds. |

Of the two bikes I ride regularly, one has and one hasn't. I don't use lights in the daytime on the GS, and I haven't found it's made a difference either way big enough for me to notice to be honest. |

Lights on permanently on both my roadbikes, the unloved NC at the back of the garage has an off switch. It'll get a lot less of a so called safety feature when cars are also forced to run with headlights on,cant find the reference to that but expect it in the next few years. |

Yes, I can switch the lights on and off on both bikes. Sometimes I forget, until I suddenly notice I can't see where I'm going any more |
