Was frost with a smattering of snow this morning, still once on the main roads it was just wet and cold.

Hell yeah, done the commuting to work on the back lanes in ice thing enough times to not want to do it again. The car skates around enough, bollocks to doing it on a bike and then having to spend half an hour each side of the commute thawing out.

This is mild. If it's like this now, Jan & Feb will be worse. I thought you were made of sternerstuff, but I guess all those years pushing pens, riding in cars, has made you soft behind the ears.

Loads of mega accidents today, both in & out of Town. Had m'own wheels twitching but for a cavalier bucaneer like me it's all in a days ride.
