Default Talk me outta it please - Yamaha RD 350 LC

I'm getting this mad urge to buy an RD 350 lc to build as my next project. I have access to full running gear from a ZXR400 and I want to graft the front end and wheels onto the RD chassie, for a bit of a mad 2t fighter type thing.

I cant afford it really but projects keep me out of trouble and gives me something to do.

Talk me out of it please

90% complete, how often have I heard that There's generally a reason why the last owner stopped with 10% of the bits yet to get, and it isn't usually because he was doing the easy or cheap bits last!

Still, enjoy the rebuild, I've done a few and despite all the expense and frustration there's litle as satisfying as hearing it crack up for the first time and thinking "I did that!"

That'll probably be Gareth, aka Z1100R on the RD forum. Top bloke, what he doesn't know about RD500's probalbly isn't worth knowing. Last count I think he had 7 of them. Here's his webpage about the ZXR/500LC build.
