Si Pavey told us he thought the 800GS was probably the best Adventure bike in the range. I'm just not sure about the build quality of the 800 range.

Only probably?
I would say it quite clearly is.
It's the only one that's even remotely built for it really.
The rest of the GSs are just pretenders.
Big all road tourers dressed up as big trailies.
