![]() Ok, I know what the writeups say - cheap, fun, nice engine, good for learners and experienced riders alike etc. What are they like to live with tho? What goes wrong? What areas suffer from salt laden roads? What accessories are worth having or not? Anyone got one with a lowered seat? Does it make a lot of difference from standard? Anyone got one with lowered suspension? That kinda thing. Cheers M'dears. ![]()

A wee mate has the 'F' model, the same bike except it has a fairing. He has his lowered and a Hagon rear shock fitted. I've ridden his bike a number of times to give an opinion. Some stuff here Adam. |

![]() Another Q for those in the know.... One thing I noted from a writeup which got me thinking is the rear spindle setup where it seems to bolt down onto the painted swingarm. Does this mark the swingarm at all when the chain is adjusted?

I used to park next to a guy with one. Yakking with him and he said it was a good little bike but really needed more grunt and an 800 would have made a proper bike of it. Read into that what you will? I like the look of them. |

I did a few miles on one and really enjoyed it. I'd have one over an SV650. Echo most of what's been said already really. It's a budget bike so I think the finish could suffer if neglected. It felt so low I can't imagine it'd need lowering. Wheelied better than my CB1300 too. |

Rolo has one, though I haven't seen her post in a while. I think they are a great bike, not as lumpy low down as some twins. The lowered one does drag it's arse easily, mind. |

![]() IIRC the seat height is quoted as ER6 785mm and NC30 765 or 755 depending on where you look. 2-3 cm doesn't sound a lot but... The low seat option is supposed to be 20mm lower and 30mm narrower tho, which is good. Quote:

I test rode the faired one, see post 58 on this thread Kawasaki Versys- anyone got one ?, not what you're asking for really but hey ho. There ain't much to the seat as it is, removing some of it might make it unbearable, possibly. They are very low bikes as stock. |
