Also four counties were good and would have been the cheapest if id got 5 years NCB

I can get a good/cheap quote for mine, but Bennetts is a fairly new policy... so don't wana waste it all.

I have to agree with your opinion of bennetts.

I checked with Norwich Union and they list the SMR, so all the big brokers should list it.

3 out of 6 i tried yesterday don't list the SMR.

i claimed three weeks after i took the policy out and my NCB went down to 2 years...

Well they still can't insure me, however they've cancelled it with very few costs to me, usually it's £30 cancellation and 40% of the policy value...

but they've charged me £30 only. So i'm happy.

Will take out new insurance today for the SMR.
