Default Nice Change to A Bandit

I gave a mate an old (98 model I think) R1 seat unit I had gathering dust in the garage that I was never going to use, as he wanted to change the look of the rear rear end of his 600 Bandit. He says that it needed just a little trim with a Dremel so as to get the standard Bandit seat to fit, and a lick of gloss black, but nothing else.

I think it looks good-I like the way it looks like it was designed for the bike and gets rid of the bulbous look.

Anyone else seen a part from another bike improve the looks of the one it went on?

It does now (he trimmed a bit more off the seat unit, and the seat fits completely flush all round), and I think all the angles look right with the frame.

I like Bandits. I had an early 1200N for a few years. It took ages to get all the bolted on crap and anodised horrors off that its previous owner had defaced it with.

I must be a purist!
