A lot more power than the SD (which has got baffles in and could do with a re-map really), but the KTM kills it on the torque.
was CC's SD an ex race bike ? i thought they were all between 125-130bhp with the HM stuff or bob farnham tune ?
or do the baffles make that much differance ?

KTM is an ex race bike but with a standard motor, with baffles out it made 117-119, baffles in it's 111 ! Altho at 6k revs it does have nearly 20hp more on tap than the 848 and only loses once revs go above 9000 where the 848 is quicker

I was at the Dyno today as well! Less power than you though... Still very happy with what I have. Sprint RS with Scorpion exhaust with the baffle out, fueling with the baffle in was awful. Much better with it out.

Does anyone ever do anything usefull with dyno sheets like working out where in the rev range is best to change gear for max accelleration or whatever or do they just get shown to mates so they can all see big numbers than left in the bottom of a drawer till the bike is for sale so the buyer can see big numbers as well?

When setting up the race bike, they were useful to see which mods did what. For example, we tried some supposedly 'trick' spark plugs, which actually lost it nearly 2bhp The run on the 848 was just beacuse we've never seen a sheet from one and wanted to know how powerful it actually is It serves no other purpose as I've no plans to tune it or anything.

That's easy all the way thro the revs then change, no one ever changes up before and accelerates quicker

Please say it was those Brisk plugs everyone was waffling on about a few years ago, I so wanted that to be pure bullshit cos the claims sounded so unbelievable.

Yep, that's the ones The Iridium plugs far outperformed them!

Bwahahahaha, thanks very much for that
I always thought the claims they made of increased horsepower sounded a bit optimistic.

The idea is there, but they certainly didn't work in the couple of Ducati's we tried them in.
