I'm very tempted by one of their R8 waist pack jobbies....

I have one of their little pack things that came with my Almax lock, its really well made and the only problem I see with it is that the strape that hold it onto my passenger seat both have the same type end on them, can't remember which way round it goes but its either two male ends or two female so I can't fasten both ends together when the packs off the bike.
It wouldn't matter but for the fact that the rear seats a bit of a pain to remove and needs an allen key.

It would abe a lot better with a male and a female end on the strap like the ones on my Oxford tankbag.

scott, i think they have ends like that so it clips to the R-series rucsacks. i've got an R35 and my US10 (free with my almax) clips on piggy back style.

again, i have to agree the quality on all the kriega kit as second to none.

I have the R11 bum bag, don't use it much now I have the scooter but invaluable for supermoto riders and superb build quality.

I would urge Kriega to pull their finger out with the US10, Almax strip them clean every couple of months

......it was my suggestion to scrap the Motrax and use the US10 so I'm glad people are happy with them. Pretty tough too, the test was to cram one with 2.5m of Series IV and drop it onto concrete from above head height, it suffered a broken clip and a tiny split in the seam, not bad considering the 16kg payload.

Need a ground anchor fitting within 30 miles of Ilford? PM me.

Ditto, but you can get straight through connectors to attach the 2 ends together once the pack is removed.
I never actually got round to buying them but they were approx 50p each

That makes sense it just needs a clip with two ends the same on it so it acts as a converter.

It's for the US 10, could you direct me to where I can purchase them as other than that the pack is a very handy little thing and means I can still use my tankbag for waterproofs and bait (sarnies) box.

Still the solution isn't quite as good as it could be if they had given it a little more thought.

I've also got the US10 but have ordered a US20 too as part of a group buy on Gixerjunkies.net.
They'll attach togther which gives you the US30 (no shit!).
I reckon the US30 combined with a tank bag is all I'll need for my regular 1 week tours around Spain.

I got the R25 rucksack for my birthday just b4 xmas, i'd read about them then had a good look at the NEC, which made my mind up; anyone thinking they want/need a new rucksack, then I can highly reccomend these, very well made, extremely comfortable on the bike, in fact you forget you have it on, it's that good, don't know how it would stand up to a good down pour, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough. Will be buying either the US10 or 20 to add to it or use as a seperate tail pack, as soon as funds allow.

Have one of those too, well, almost as it's not in the best of condition after a long slide/roll/tumble/roll/slide after i got seperated from the bike @ 60mph - it's got a few holes in it now (still useable). It was packed full of chrimbo pressies at the time & they all survived including a litre bottle of JD - the built in back protector (ontop of the one in my jacket) did a good job too.

Best bike backpack i've ever had (leagues ahead of two other bike specific ones i owned previously too), only improvement I can think of for it is more pockets

Seen loads of folk just leave the straps fixed under the seat, personally I just clip both ends back into the bag and use them as a carry handle
