It was packed full of chrimbo pressies at the time & they all survived including a litre bottle of JD - the built in back protector (ontop of the one in my jacket) did a good job too.

Best bike backpack i've ever had (leagues ahead of two other bike specific ones i owned previously too), only improvement I can think of for it is more pockets

Agreed, their were more on the R35, but I didn't want a rucksack that big, shame.

Another Kriega fan here, my US20 + 2 x US10's have done 1000's of miles over the last few years. No leaks, strap or buckle problems and have fitted all bikes.

Excellent kit.

I bought an R25 at the NEC a few months back - really impressed - no leaks and easy to take on and off..

I got one at the Xcel show and so far its very good, i took out the tool roll thingy and now have just my disc lock and a few bits in, waterproofs, gaffa tape and cableties.

The side pouch with the roll top dry bag is good for wallet and phone..

Its noce and comfy and tbh i forget its there..

Another impressed customer. Got the US20 for my birthday. and you really do feel the weight lifted off the shoulders and transferred to the chest piece. I originally wanted the US25 with the double clipped harness, but as a small gurl, it was too big. Looked at them at the Kriega Stand at the ExCel, and the sales guy agreed, saying the back piece just wasn't made for shorter (read Wimmin) backs. He even offered to tailor the straps for free to fit me, but it came down to the back pad in the end so a no go.

Half a large chocolate cake survived a few hours on my back in my Kriega yesterday, suffering only minor cosmetic damage !!

I want to get the Kriega Kubepocket that velcro's on to the chest straps/ bum bag straps. I like the idea of being able to easily reach my phone should I get hurled off in an empty field with no-one else to ask for help than the grazing cows.

Ooo Ooo I've got this stuff too, the small pack jobby (US10?) with the Almax and the R8 waistpack thingy with the cube as an addition. I bought it for whence on the Buell with no bleeding room (I'm used to room- Electra Glide) along with the Buell tail pak and tank bag. A man can never have too many storage devices!!!!

Nice one, I've just bought a US20 simply based on how good they look (and the fact I get a bit fed up bungeeing my Oxford tailpack on).... and I like the way you can attach one US10 on the top to make a 30 liter pack or one either side to make a 40 liter pack.

Had the R35 Rucksack for a little while, and used it 'in anger' for the first time this weekend to go down to Brands.

Absolutely superb kit! Fitted a weekends worth of clothes and a few other bits inside (and it was nowhere near full), and due to the compression straps, wasn't bulky at all. Was able to wear it and move around on the bike even though I had my Baglux Whoppa (read huge) tailpack fitted, with no clashing/contact between the two (even with a speedhump on the leathers).

So comfortable to wear, barely noticed the weight at all, no tugging on the shoulders like a 'conventional' rucksack.

And it didn't move around at all, even at a cruising speed of 'over' a ton most of the way there and back.

Nick.s - check out www.kriega.com for full measurements and specs (on their full range of products). Although they recommend that the R25 is better for people under 5'5 tall (because of the length of the built in 'back protection' plate), at 5'4 on a good day I have no problem with the length of the R35.

Safe riding.
