WHEN I get the last two bits for the Tuono we shall have to see if we can wreck another of your bikes.

You not got a trail bike yet?

Of course not. I've got the GS to try next.

Although, of all the bikes I've ever tested, I would say the Adventure was one of the best, and certainly the best bike I've tested so far in this sequence of tests. It was much better than the two Beemers.

The only bike which impressed me more was the 800 Monster I rode a year or two back. That was just bloody brilliant. I never got one because it was just not practical enough. The Adventure hit the spot in a similar way, but with all that practicality and build quality to boot.

If I had to spend my money now I would get an Adventure. However, I love testing bikes so much I don't want to stop.

Good write up, I love the adventure and it's a serious consideration to join the superduke when the multi has gone, in fact it is the top choice at the moment the other being the 950SM for more road bias

I think I'm going to try the 990SM. I would never have previously considered such a machine, but my first KTM experience was such an eye-opener . . .

I would, similar performance to the adventure but more road biased and better handling. Less wind protection but that can be sorted with a small screen that would enable 90mph cruising

The superduke has even better handling so must also be ridden

Nice report though.

Well, if I'm going to try the 990 SM and the Super Duke, I think the RC8 must also be ridden. Oh well, its going to be busy, orange summer.
