Nice toy

How easy will all the detail parts of the swap be? things like mounting brackets for rad/tanks/ecu/all-the-other-crap-that-makes-a-bike-work?

"Should" be fairly easy, the only thing that is different from a standard frame is the air intake (still takes original front subframe though) and the bottom shock mounting has moved 1mm down and 2mm in to make the rear stiffer

I have to make a rear tray for the subframe to mount all the ECU, Power commander etc, but shouldnt be that much hassle

So, it should all just bolt together

Well, made some progress today, which is nice!

Got the Engine out





Had a bit of a clean up and chocked the engine ready for the new frame after swapping out various engine bolts (Hawk had left loads of titanium bolts in which was nice of them!)



Another something nice left on was the top shock mounting bracket, standard first, then my new one





Finally got the new frame on with all correct plumbing routes and wiring routes



So far, so good
