I know someone with a 1098 and the only problems (as far as I know) he has had so far is bits of bodywork falling off.

Carry some duct tape and at least it isn't an AA job to get home.

I'm trying to resist! It needs practical things first...just ordered some of that invisible paint protection film stuff and it's going to have to have a luggage rack of some kind, because I'm not lugging stuff round in a rucksack! I'll make a tourer out of it yet

There was a great deal on it and the PX was better than I thought too, so say hi to the new Ducati 848
So fast? It seems the latest one was only yesterday (maybe that's just a perception). You and CouchCommando should meet. You've got a big thing in common and you'd get along well...

... provided you keep a tidy house and have a big enough garage to spin the bikes around after they're run in to PX them for a new one. Who knows, once you meet him your heart may overrule your eyes

Nice bike BTW
