Bought an R65 out of the box.
Vibration, back to dealer.
Ignition failure, back to dealer, ignition replacement, comes out with more vibration than before.
Gearbox failure, dealer replacement, can't do anything about vibration.
Front brake jams causing crash, dealer haggles about replacing tank and panels, will get in touch with BMW GB about vibration.
2nd Ignition failure, BMW GB haven't got back to them about vibration, complete ignition system replacement.
After 9 months I was desperate to get anything else to ride.

Since owned an R80 but it was stolen after I'd only had it about a month and never found.
Sounds shitty.

BTW - I remembered something the other day - I believe that the R65LS (as opposed to the normal R60) had a differently weighted crank/flywheel. May have reduced the vibes in comparison to the regular R60. (I can't remember if it was lighter or heavier).

Personally, I think I'd take the Griso from that shortlist.

If I was going to the Guzzi shop, I'd probably test ride one of these while i was there...

Hmmm... very good plan. From what's being written farily regularly about the Stelvio and Griso (by, admittedly, journalists) there are a few moans about the 8v motor being a bit peaky and lacking in balls.....

Tried any other twins? Suzuki SV 1000 or any of the variants or Italian re-users Would you consider going back to a well re-furbed older Guzzi? you could get a completely rebuilt Lemon for loads less than a new bike.... or is that sacrilege

Mana 850. Looks good, nice price. They're bringing a 1200 version out at the end of the year, apparently.

Nope, unfortunately not yet. Looks bloody good though, and the price is keen. Worth a closer look, I reckon.
