It's standard practice to buy any bike trousers overly long isn't it? They always ride up on the bike and so you always need to get longer than you would normally buy for walking in.

I've got the 3 season Bandogs, now 5 years old, worn almost every one of those days and completely waterproof, not an ounce of Goretex in sight.

I'm 6'3"ish, I just buy the longest I can get in any trousers. The HG cruise pants are still the longest I've had. Serves me right for, one, being a lanky bugger, and two, not doing my research properly. Still pissed off though as the boots feel really good on
