After one of the front clips on my Baglux harness broke I dug out my old shabby rucksack. Both shoulder straps are knackered. One is tied in a knot, the other is bolted, yes bolted, on at one end.....it needs replacing. Rather than forking out for a new tank harness, while I wait to find out if mine can be repaired, I thought I'd invest in a decent rucksack for commuting on the bike. All I need to carry in it are a pair of work shoes, a folded pair of work trousers and a folded work shirt which I don't wish to get too creased. What do you recommend? |

I was going to fork out £90 for a kreiga but picked up a knox rucksack for £35 which looks well made with -straps and clips in all the right places -a bungy system to save you carrying your lid around when off the bike and extra fold out straps to secure something like a bed mat to -padding for your back -helmet bag -spare visor bag -laptop bag |

Kreiga R35 Take shoes, trous and shirt easy peasey, also big enough for a weekend jaunt. When not full the compression straps keep it all neat and tidy, and the harness design is very secure and comfortable. I've had mine for a year and it is 'as-new' - extremely well made, using durable materials. |

+1 for Kriega. They are pricey but you'll never need another one. Also you wont lose 3 work shirts and a laptop out of it like, er, a friend of mine did from his old one |

I'm with everyone else. Go for the Kriega, they are expensive but you'll get your moneys worth out of it. I use the Kriega tail packs and they are great pieces of kit |

Ask Muzzy about QD straps - very effective apparently. http://www.therevcounter.com/motorbi...uzzy-down.html |

after years ragging around with a rucksack then using a (oxford) tailpack you get less aches / tiredness with the tailpack ...just for heavens sake, make sure it's fastened properly otherwise you'll be practicing a high speed rear wheel skid (and pant-filled skid too) | |

I have an Oxford tailpack but I only use it when I'm on a long one. It's too much hassle to strap it on and off. I think a rucksack would be all round more useful. I like the look of the R20 Kriega....not too big.....but expensive. |
