Having used them for years in my line of work and on the bike I can confirm that a) never had to use the warranty and b) they way outlast the warranty. | ||

Another vote for Ortlieb here. They're used by couriers, divers and for kayaking etc and they're not going to fall apart easily and they definately don't let your stuff get wet. I did about two years of year-round commuting with mine in all weathers & no hint of moisture gets in. The other thing I really like about mine is that the inside is just one big space, so your shirt doesn't get crushed while its in there so long as you've not overstuffed the bag with tat.

I bought an R35 Kriega at the weekend funnily enough with a waterproof laptop bag to go along with it. I also have a US10 which came with the Almax chain and an R8 waistpack, could say I'm reasonably impressed with their products. R35's first outing tomorrow..... |

i've got a Crumpler backback, doesn't claim to be utterly waterproof - but has been. has a removable laptop (aka shirt and trousers) section. you have to like the slightly odd setup - but they're more urban chic than others bit like this one, they change a fair bit every year. Crumpler Products Page edit: link just goes to the products page - mine is like the King Single or Beerback |

After recently covering almost 1500 miles in 4 days sporting my Kriega R25, which was stuffed to the brim, I can honestly say I never once wished I wasn't carrying it, hardly noticed it to be honest, very comfortable, top bit of kit. Front shot only (sorry), somewhere just over the Scottish border, nr the Ettrick valley I think. |
