I posted a thread on it a while back as it was being punted out with a free tool wallet and first aid kit. Good but not waterproof I think (not used it in the wet/read any instructions to confirm). | ||

Had an R35 didn't like it felt bulky and didn't distribute the weight comfortably. Bought a Dakine heli-Pro only 20l but very flat on your back, used mine commuting for 7 years. Still looks brand new. Dakine Heli pro |

well i have just done 800mls 400 each way with the R25 Kriega racksack on 6hrs on my back and it was well worth the money,my friend carlo's had one for the first time too. we both had a good 100mph play down the 258 in germany for 70 mls we didn't have any issues with the racksacks moving around, and to be fair when the racksacks were off they were heavy, but when on you knew you had it on but didn't feel the weight when they were on. we both said what a top piece of kit Kriega's are, aslo you dont get the extra weight on the back of the bike,if you should wont to get a wiggle on. |

| Kriega Whore here. Got a R35 & R25 (plus too much other stuff of theirs...). It started with the R35 as I needed a large backpack that the GF could wear for a long trip. It worked perfectly and convinced me their stuff was worth the price, the build quality is fantastic. However the R35 is a bit big (and it is awkward off the bike). When I wanted a backpack to carry work shoes and clothes the R25 seemed the obvious choice. The armour plate back protector thingy gives the sack solid shape that is good for keeping the creases at bay, but it is not as bulky as the R35. In summary, pricey but worth it. |

Interesting thread - thanks. I've always used Eurohike ones from Millets - own brand? The latest has lasted over 8 years of daily use but is getting a little tatty. It's still showerproof but not water proof but thats been cured with a carrier bag insert. Time for something new methinks. |

Another vote for Kreiga Got the backpack after years of farting around with cheapies well worth the money. Also have the 20 Tailpack that I leave on the Bike. Even though its smaller its amazing what it can swallow up. Thier Fanny pack completes the set. Costs a bit but it is really worth it once you have made the original outlay. From what you say I think the tail pack would be a good option. |

How waterproof do you want it? If 'very/totally/absolutely' then Ortlieb is your friend. ![]() I recommend The Courier. |
