Default The deed is done, deposit on Royal Enfield Diesel has been made.

Settled on a 1971 rebuild (tax free, free from a shedload of legal requirements) with a big arse sprung saddle and 500 Bullet curved rear mudguard.

It's pretty much a completely new bike except for the frame, £3600.

Will collect after the 20th.

Need a ground anchor fitting within 30 miles of Ilford? PM me.

Nice one, and probably the best way to beat paying tax albeit a slow way

Got it from Royal Enfield Motorcycles - PricePart Motorcycles - Tel: 01454261941 - Email: henry@pricepartmotorcycles.co.uk

Basically they take old Indian Enfields, strip them, replace everything, mod the gearbox to take the Yanmar (Chang Fa or whatever) ditchpump motor, repaint everything then flog them.

Cheb, should run on pukka bio but reports (Google Salad oil bike) suggest that SVO isn't that good. Point is I can buy 500l of Bio, stuff the duty.

Did you get a test ride?

Getting the electric start?

No and Yes.

140 mile each way for a test ride so no, I'd rather take the plunge and learn to love it. Got the electric start, rather looking forward to the "Phwee phwee phwee phwee phwee phwee....cha cha cha chagga chagga chagga chagga chagga" every day
