Wasn't having a dig, I was merely asking a questions. I wasn't sure if you didn't have to pay VAT on classic vehicle sales...no need to be so touchy. You posted you were paying NO TAX, when in fact you will get away with £65 a year road fund, and around £2k on fuel based in 10,000 miles. Good on you for having the guts to do it, but I bet it becomes very tedious, very quickly.

Actually only £33 a year on tax, although with the Diesel engine it would be £48.

Isn't it free road tax because the bike is pre 1972? My 1961 car has free road tax
