The bit with JT was quite emotional and I'm not much of a JT fan Was nice when his crew encouraged everyone to cheer. Spies will be good next year. Can see him on the podium by the first half of the season. |

Has it been confirmed that the Ducati crash was rider error then?

I'm not a fan of Casey though I don't dislike him but I had to laugh at the lengths to which his team manager went to say it wasn't his fault. Nothing wrong with the bike, nothing wrong with the tyres, he chose to go for a faster warmup lap and got it badly wrong. What a way to end the season! It was a great onboard shot though. Screwd. |

Bit of an odd one, Stoner's not usually one to lose it after a back end slide, as anyone who's seen the last few GPs will know. But this one just went. Somebody was saying it was a cold tyre...... given the reported poor relations between him and Suppo I have to wonder when the warmers actually came off, and how long they'd been on... Anyhoo a shame for him to end a season like that, and for us who were no doubt in for an exciting race. Handy for Rossi who avoided beaing beaten again. 5-4-3-2... Good show from Spies and a mature atitude in the interviews - top 10's and build up - looks like he could do it too. Lastly though I never thought JT could do it I was sad for him today, he gave it his best shot and the good wishes from the team were good to see. |

In light of Tomcats post, I might reconsider being quite so dismissive of CS. If that's true then someone somewhere in CS team has pulled the plug on his tyre warmers? ...but what was that waffle about saving fuel on the warmup lap being part of the strategy? Sounded decidedly "made up on the spot" to me. Hopefully the truth will out. Screwd. |

TC comments are a load of bollox imho. He just can't bare the thought of CS making a fuck up. Sounded to me like they were going around the houses to not just say he fucked up on cold tyres... |

| A far more reasonable explanation than the bollox, CS did seem to be leaning the bike way over compared to the other riders on the warm up lap.

As said.... sounds like bollox to me. What they were trying to say, without risking upsetting CS (who is known to be a bit of a touchy/delicate little flower) is that he highsided on cold tyres. What is this super strategy......send him out on super cold tyres? How does that work then? |

From my perspective TC talks a lot of sense when it comes to racing, so I remain open to Ducati somehow masterminding this fuckup. The Ducati "excuse" was so vague and lame it was (on the face of it) really bollocks, maybe there's a double bluff going on there Anyhow, I reserve judgement until I see how on earth running cold tyres and/or saving fuel on the warmup lap makes a big enough difference to even be detectable in a thirty lap race.I smell a rat though, Casey would fall even lower in my estimation if this all pans out to be face saving spin. Screwd. |
