Can't remember the exact title, but there's a River Cottage Family Cookbook type thing... It's aimed at cooking with your kids etc, but it's by no means simplistic and doesn't just cover fairy cakes. It's got loads of stuff in there most adults wouldn't know, it covers all the 'basics' of cooking at a fundemental level in easy to understand ways.
