For some F1 is processional and boring, for others it most certainly isn't. This group is for the latter.

Y'know I've been thinking "what's he playing at?!" when I've read his comments.

Ferrari have expressed interest in him previously, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him in McLaren.

It could have caused utter uproar and demolition of faith in the series this season had it been in place. Imagine a race-off between Hamilton and Massa at Brazil, which Massa may have won. That would have meant stewards really had decided the championship at Belgium.

Not quite - that front wing is still thoroughly illegal, and the car still has chimneys and deflectors on it.

Any big rule change will spread the field in terms of laptime, as the big teams invest heavily and develop to a good solution faster. However, what it should put an end to is one car rapidly closing down another and then not being able to get closer than about 4 car-lengths - they should be able to get right by. That's the plan, anyway.

Demontezemulo (sic) is a world class whinger. That's the simple fact of the matter. His Mafia boss won't be happy if the Red Peril don't win again this year, so he's complaining at every whip-stitch to make this happen.

Come back Jean Todt - all is forgiven. Far more of a sportsman IMO ...

It's been the case this season. A safety car is out for a reason, and that's not up for discussion with race control, be it Charlie Whiting or Charie fuckin' Chuck! It's the safety of the drivers, the teams, the marshalls and the spectators that are the primary concern in these conditions, and I think Ferrari need to grow up and realise they're not the bastard be-all and end-fuckin'-all.

Er - he did actually make the current world champ look pretty stupid yesterday, given that they started together and had the same strategy, I don't think you could describe him as average.

Good on Vettel though; great drive

I weakened and watched the race and I'm glad I did, another good'un with some general excitement. Hamilton done well again and Vettel drove like an experienced driver rather than a releative rooky

I was rooting for Piquet, I have to admit. I like it when an underdog gets in the mix.

Ferrari's downfall this season will be failing to focus its efforts behind one driver. While they keep stealing points from one another, Hamilton will eke out a lead.

Another cracking victory for Lewis Hamilton at the German GP! Two on the trot, his 8th career win and the one to push him to the top of the FIA Drivers World Championship. Superb!!

Nice pieces of overtaking throughout the race, especially the charge back from Lewis following McLaren's cock up of his pit stop schedule at lap 52. What were they thinking?!?!

    Podium
    1st - Lewis Hamilton, 10 points
    2nd - Nelson Piquet, 8 points
    3rd - Fellipe Massa, 6 points

Roll on Hungary in 2 weeks time ... which incidentally coincides with Rock Show #36!!

    Random hearsay....

I heard yesterday from someone very much in the know that Bernie's interest in taking the British GP to Donnington is because he plans to buy the track, then charge to hold the race there instead of Silverstone. Never trust a midget.

Just to tick you guys off - I was at the Williams HQ last week for a conference with work and we got a tour round the factory (no photo's please) and their museum (take as many as you like). Incredible technology and exotic materials all over the place. Some sealed off area's though where we were not allowed to go into.
