Default Prince Charlie

How long do you give him as King?

I mean he's had a proper apprenticeship he's about 61 now I think and the Queen is what 80 odd. Let's say another 10 odd for her so Charlie might get the job he was born for at 70-75 ??

So I give him about 8 years, what do you think or will he get it at all...

Lizzy will get the best that modern medicine can deliver. Her mum lasted more than 100 years. Charlie will be lucky to get a couple of months.

I don't think he will ever be king. I think it'll jump a generation, if the monarchy lasts that long. Which it won't if there's any justice in the world.

Well if Charles does only get a relatively short period, which personally I would find a little sad, then William will get a good crack at it, at least.

Which is good, as he's a biker

Charles won't want or get to be king, it'll go straight to Wills.

I personally like the monarchy. At least they're here for the long term. After all, did you vote for Brown, i know i didn't

I hope his mother outlives him, he'll make a completely disastrous monarch.

But it doen't matter. The monarch is a figurehead whose only purpose is to draw in the tourist dollar.

Anyway, he won't have time to cock very much up.

Sad in a way. Imagine training for 40 odd years and then never getting to do the real job.

There's nice.
Parents don't want to outlive their children. Even monarchs I'll wager.

Seems a shame that he may not get a decent stab at it. HRH should consider retiring IMO and let him get on with it, she is over 80.

We could have a coup, mind; Charlie could go on the rampage with tanks and string the old bird up, head on a pike as a warning.

I hope he gets to be king for quite some time. I want the next king of England to be 'airborne'.

I too hope he gets to be King. I think he is a great man and ambassador for the country. Long live the Monarchy!

Superb pictures of bikes in Yellowstone etc here. Well worth a click.

Bet he's got one of them at Windsor that he rides around on as well. I've a good mind to write to the Daily Mail demanding, yes that's right - DEMANDING - that something is done about it.
