Yes.

It's very hard to run in a dress.

Oh alright then. Yes I've tried it in various VWs on run what ya brung days at santa pod. its surprisingly harder than you think to launch a car properly.

I imagine harder still with a bike. The thing is on a 1/4 mile, your best TLGP starts start to show their weaknesses.

I used to do Run What Ya Brungs on a 350 YPVS, it's good fun but really kills the bike.

When we were in t'other place Ric used to do it. Good bloke and fount of knowledge on strokers. I think he may have gone down with the sinking ship though.

My neighbour now has a video of his wife carrying out her Sunday driving!

1/4 mile in 6.137 secs terminal speed 232.85mph. And that's using manual clutch control as well!!

Not bad for a lady driver!



Not bad for something that's been home built in the back of a shed!!

I'd reccommend that everyone tries at least one RWYB day at Santa Pod. Never before has 0.1 seconds caused me so much frustration

I've been and watched at the pod once , Top Fuel car were there.
I was walking around thinking why has everyone got eye protectors and stuff then i heard one start up.

Raced on and off for about 13 years first time back in 92 (ACU Competition bike) and gave up in 2005 raced a variety of turbocharged and nitrous bikes both with and without wheelie bars also crewed on top fuel , funny bikes and pro stock bikes

A few of my old bikes









also played in the car but it was a lot slower
