I use Jewelite,bought in H Samuels I think or you can use gin as others have suggested.

Have you seen what Coca Cola does to bronze coins? God knows what it does to our inners!

Thanks all. I found a small ultrasonic gizmo on t'internet and have clicked Buy.
We'll see how good it is in reality.
The rings are too difficult to clean with a brush/cloth effectively (to get behind the stones)

Luckily it travels through them and doesn't stop (as such) to allow the inners to soak up all the cokey goodness (not to mention it gets diluted by quite a bit of stomach acid, which they always seem to omit when showing people the devestating power of coke v's teeth, coins, etc. etc.)
edit: Flat coke also stops the trots, which is always helpful on your travels as you can always get coke
