IMO you need somewhere for really big/hi res piccies so customers can see the detailing & quality if they want to.
I'll have a really proper look (for grammar!!) & think this week-bit tied up at the moment to go much beyond a quick look.
BTW watched Merlot & Voodoo go for BOB at Leeds yesterday. Crumbs, that girl is drop dead stunning.
Cheers Paul, all help gratefully received.
I watched Storm get his ear shredded by one of the adults earlier, looks like that show career has also gone the way of his auntie's!

If, and it's a big "IF", his ear is okay then he will still go on to make a good show dog. But, my biggest problem at the moment is time, or rather the lack of it. I need to find the time to do some ringcraft and basic handling with him as it's such a waste having such a beautiful dog and not getting him on the bench.

It looks fine mate... it works and navigation is easy.
The earlier post about price guides is perhaps a good idea.. I also have no idea what a paint job would cost.
I have a ZX9R B4 (in a hundred pieces) that might be a prime candidate for your artistry depending on the cost. Good luck with it all.

Re: It works, I'm so happy!
Id say the only thing that lets the site down, and your work, is the bad photography. Some crisp studio shots would really bring the work out.

Oh how I wish I did, you have no idea!!!!

Best advice I can give you is to get a tripod... it makes a HUGE difference to the quality of pictures... thats what I use now when photographing customers cars.

Ok, I don't want to be harsh here but I will. That website is bad for your business.
It looks basic, un-professional and the coding is crap. Whilst the average punter won't notice the coding, the design of that site is going to put people off especially as it is for a graphical design company!
I really hope you didn't pay more than £200 for that because as far as I am concerned that is all that is worth. It looks like a high school kid did it.
Your work is good, but you are making a bad statement from this site and asking customers to overlook its flaws.
I am snowed under with work at the moment, but if you want and when I can get the time I will give you a breakdown of all the things that need sorted on the site.

It works too... I have a battered R6 which I'm gradually making unbattered, but I might want a paint job at some point when I can afford to eat AND drink at the same time... so I will be giving you a shout

Who needs to eat these days?!?!
You know where I am when you're ready. I want to meet you just to see if that tongue does fit back in your mouth!

As above mate, I'll gladly talk turkey when you want it sorting out.

Cheers Danny, the photography is now in Claire's hands, she won't let me near a camera from now on!

The design is my idea and, as previously stated, was intended to let the pictures do the talking. However, it seems that I got some elements of the website slightly wrong.
I would like to put a waving Union Jack as the background colour, dropped back to bring everything else forward. So, that's going to happen. Plus, I need to speak to the owners and see if I can have their bikes for a couple of days to do decent pictures as I'll put white sheets up in the workshop and give Claire the chance to take decent photo's.
Thanks for the offer, I really would appreciate any help possible.

I agree with those who say it could use a bit more colour, even if it was just one sweep of a multicoloured paintbrush across the home page. (Can you still buy tartan paint?)
DuPont did develop "tartan paint". They could mix different coloured paints that had different electrostatic charges onto a opposing charged etching primer. The paint would seperate and run to different areas and then they achieved "tartan" paint. Sadly they couldn't develop it to cover larger areas so it was little more than a marketing excercise. Very cool though.

they had to pretreat the wall/area to be painted so it was just as much work as painting two seperate colours

No. Coverage area was the only issue. The prep as considered worth it as there was drying or masking time for the subsequent different coats and you could achieve instant uniform thickness.

here's a simple one that I found in the portfolio of the guy who does ours. I like it, mostly. The idea of the close up piccies for details is there.
